FC Barcelona x UNHCR Global Partnership Launch
June 2022
Tara launching the FC Barcelona x UNHCR partnership with FCB President Joan Laporta Estruch and UN High Commissioner Filippo Grandi at UNHCR Headquarters in Geneva. The global partnership kicked off at this milestone event with a new FCB team jersey in support of UNHCR, sending a strong message of solidarity to more than 100 million people around the world forced to flee from their homes.
Here Tara presents a gift to LaPorta, a football designed by Nadira, a 16 year old refugee girl from Afghanistan who won the Youth with Refugees global art contest to design a "dream ball".

Managed Scholarship Program for 120+ students at a new College in rural Kenya. Led fundraising, project management, and reporting for Leadership & Empowerment Academy
• Handled budgets, reporting, promotional materials, Measuring & Evaluation, and College expansion strategy
• Each faculty was curated to ensure graduates can pursue meaningful work at home, rather than leave to the city or abroad to find work.
• Interactive, accredited programs boost rural communities, contributing to local economies in marginalized regions
• Focus on women's empowerment and economic development programs
• Developed fundraising strategies for over $1 Million to secure full scholarships for the following Faculties:
- School of Tourism & Hospitality
- School of Nursing
- School of Clinical Medicine
- School of Entrepreneurial Agriculture
- School of Automotive Engineering

• Partners included: Microsoft, Royal Bank of Canada, KPMG, Jeunesse, Facebook, Virgin Atlantic

MTV International Development Documentary
Degrassi in Nicaragua
2013
Cameras follow the cast of "Degrassi" as they visit Nicaragua working as volunteers with Free the Children on a development project in the small rural community of El Trapiche.
Tara was a host facilitator on this VIP trip and featured in the Documentary that aired on MTV in 2013.
